My, How Our Life Has Changed!!!

There is no way to mentally prepare yourself for having a child. I am happy to say that it is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Not the actual physical process (that was awful) but the caring for of little Peggy. On the flipside, it is also the most wonderful, amazing, gratifying, experience of my life so far. It really is strange how things seem to fall into place and have a different perspective after a child arrives. Things that I used to get flipped out about no longer bother me. For example, I used to get so upset if my kitchen floor was dirty. Now, I am glad just to have had a shower for the day, not mind you that makeup is the last thing I'm thinking about. And, I'll take anything to eat regardless of the preparation method. Anyway, I must say that things that didn't make sense to me before make sense now. I am so glad my life has changed and I love my little munchkin so much!!!!!! Thank you PP for making me the happiest person on earth!!!!!!!

Peggy In Her Bouncy Seat

Well, I finally can type with two hands while sitting PP in my lap. I can hardly believe that Peggy will be seven weeks old on Tuesday. Where does the time go? Thank God the super hard days are behind us. I am really starting to enjoy our little PP as she is smiling and cooing at us and her favorite toys. She still loves her glow worm and her new favorites are her panda and her butterfly that I attached to the bouncy seat. The toys that came with the seat aren't very interesting and I think they are hard for her to focus upon. The panda and the butterfly are larger and easier to see. She sat in her seat for a whopping 45 minutes to an hour this morning. That is a major accomplishment since before she would only stay in the seat for 5-10 minutes. On another topic, even though my body and life have been blown to hell, it was all worth it for our little angel. ( She's still a devil sometimes.)

Peggy Loves Bath Time

Peggy now loves her bath. At first, she did not. I am typing this with one hand so forgive me for the first grade sentences. Enjoy the pics.

Whitney and Steven are a married couple living in Birmingham, Alabama where Whitney is a stay at home mom to Peggy and Steven is a sales rep with Cisco. We enjoy going to the beach, working out(Steven everyday, Whitney about once a year) attending church at Canterbury Church and fixing up their 1962 ranch style Mountain Brook home. Whitney also enjoys spending all of Steven's hard-earned paychecks on stuff for the house and stuff for family and friends. Steven enjoys yelling at Whitney for spending his hard-earned money. Steven and Whitney have three children, which are felines:Tiger,Violet and baby Gwenivere; and now one human child who is the light of our lives, Peggy Palmer!
