Busy Summertime

It's been a while since I posted anything. We have had a busy start to summer. I finished school at the beginning of May. I now have a Master of Education. The job prospects are slim due to budget cuts so I may be staying home with PP for the next year. Anyway, Baby Clay got married in Duck, NC, which is part of the Outer Banks Barrier Islands in North Carolina. The wedding was beautiful and we are so happy he finally married sweet Lesley. Peggy did great on the long trip to NC. I have never been so glad to be home since traveling with a little one is so much more difficult that packing for yourself. Since we have been home, Peggy has been trying to make it all night in her own bed and she just started walking!! She also is having a blast playing with her best friend, Emilyn (and first cousin). They have so much fun together totting around and wreaking havoc on retail stores around Birmingham. Yesterday, LA, Sassy, and me took the girls for a day of shopping. We were that group of people if you know what I mean. Anyway, enjoy the pics!!!!!!

Peggy Goes To Anniston And On Her First Wagon Ride

Peggy and I went to Anniston last Saturday for Gracie's dance recital. I must say, I feel horrible for having no pics of G in her costume. She has turned into quite an accomplished little dancer for twelve. We spent the night and the next day, which was my first Mother's Day, Peggy went on her first wagon ride. My dad got the classic Radio Flyer wagon for Gracie and Tyler when they turned one. The wagon has been on every beach trip with the Loves for the past twelve years. It shows wear and tear as a result. I was going to get Peggy her own wagon for her first birthday but since we are going to the beach for Clay's wedding in a few weeks, we are getting her one for that trip. They are great for beach toys and for pulling things to the beach. Enjoy the pics. We sure have!
