Iron Bowl 2010

It was cold so I only got out the camera when we were warm in the stadium! I am so excited for Auburn! War Eagle!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had a busy Thanksgiving. We started out Turkey Day in Montgomery at Clay's house. Lesley and Clay were wonderful hosts and the food was yummy. We then came back to Birmingham for dinner at the DeWaard house. Needless to say, we were stuffed! Peggy loves Thanksgiving food! Enjoy the pics!

The Same Blog But Better.... And The Tree In Our Yard

Well, last night, I awoke at 1:45 and to no avail, I didn't return to the bed until around 4:30. So, about 3:00, I decided to get up and make my Christmas list that Sassy has been asking for. I ended up here, on my blog instead. I looked through ALL of my posts since the beginning and had so much fun watching Peggy grow and our lives change from two young people to a family of three. I did notice before I had Peggy, I made more of an effort to document the momentous occasions on our lives with both pictures and WORDS. So, from now on, I am going to make a concerted effort to write more so our family will have a better account of our lives. Okay, now to the tree. Two falls ago, Fall 2008, Sassy showed up at our house with a Ginko tree. I had no idea what kind of tree it was and why we needed one. Sassy went on to tell us that her neighbor had one and it had the most beautiful foilage in the fall. This is the first year we have had enough leaves to take pictures of the precious tree. Steven decided that every year, we should take a picture of Peggy and our other future children in front of the tree during fall. I do think it will be a nice way to show how the children grow and how the tree grows. I hope you enjoy viewing the pictures of this tree as much as I have enjoyed looking out my kitchen window to our backyard at the Ginko tree.

Peggy Goes To Alabama Basketball Game

I realize that these pics could have been taken anywhere. I almost decided not to take my camera and that would have been sad because I got some great ones of Peggy and Steven. Enjoy!

Peggy is 15 Months!

Peggy turned 15 months on the 28th. We went for her check up and everything was good except she lost 8 ounces so I have to monitor her eating habits and make sure she is eating well. Now for the fun information: Peggy is so entertaining. Her favorite thing to do is to watch Barney yes, Barney. She is obsessed with him and can't get enough. We have two stuffed Barneys at home, one that sings and one that does not. Thank God for the non singing one. Peggy also loves to say "Uh-O" when she drops things. The funny thing is that she says it before dropping the object. Peggy also loves to dance and talk on the phone. She is even trying to sing now. We sing a song at Kindermusik called Round and Round The Village and she sings, "Round Round Round" all the time. It really is too cute. Lastly, Peg loves to look at pictures and point and name people in them. Her favorites are on her poster from Odyssey. She loves to name Sassy and Daddy the most. Anyhow, enjoy the pics I took on Thursday.
